A New Season, A New Platform: CCSA Has Moved to Crossbar!

We have exciting news for our CCSA families, coaches, and volunteers!

The Copper Country Soccer Association is officially migrating to Crossbar, a modern sports management platform built specifically for youth sports organizations like ours. Starting this season, Crossbar will be your one-stop destination for everything CCSA — from signing up your player to tracking volunteer hours and staying up to date on schedules.

This move has been a long time coming. As our program has grown, so has the need for better tools. We're confident Crossbar will make life easier for every member of the CCSA community!

Simpler registration for families:   Gone are the days of paper forms, confusing emails, and tracking down payment confirmations. With Crossbar, registration is fully online and takes just a few minutes. Families can sign up players, select programs, and submit payment securely — all from a desktop or mobile device. The platform supports multiple registration types, so whether you're enrolling in our recreational league, signing up for a camp, or registering a returning player, the process is clear and straightforward from start to finish.

Online registration:   Sign up players and pay securely from any device, anytime.

Automatic payments:   No more chasing down fees — payments are processed and tracked automatically.

Account management:   View your family's registration history, payment records, and program details in one place. Clearer, faster communication - One of the biggest improvements you'll notice is how much easier it is to stay informed. Crossbar's built-in communication tools allow coaches, coordinators, and league administrators to send messages directly to players, parents, and volunteers — no more wondering if an email ended up in your spam folder or whether a schedule change got passed along.

Schedule updates sync directly to your calendar, and RSVP and availability tracking means coaches always know who to expect at practice. Notifications are timely, targeted, and organized by team — so you only see what's relevant to you.

Smarter scheduling and game management:   Coordinating practices, games, and field time across multiple teams is no small feat. Crossbar's scheduling tools are designed to handle exactly that — with a point-and-click interface that makes it easy for administrators to build and adjust schedules.  When things change (and in youth soccer, they always do), updates flow automatically to everyone who needs to know.

Volunteer tracking, made easy:   This season, CCSA is introducing a volunteer commitment for all families — and Crossbar is how we'll manage it. All volunteer opportunities will be listed and tracked directly in the platform. Signing up for a shift, checking in when you arrive, and logging your completed hours is all handled in one place. No spreadsheets, no manual sign-up sheets, and no guessing whether your hour was counted.

A better experience on mobile devices:   We know most of you are managing your family's schedule from your phone. Crossbar's mobile app is designed with parents and coaches in mind — giving you access to schedules, team rosters, messages, and registration from wherever you are. Whether you're on the sideline or in the car line, CCSA is always in your pocket.

Built for organizations like ours:   Crossbar was created by people with first-hand experience running youth sports organizations as parent volunteers. That background shows in how the platform is designed — it solves real problems without overcomplicating things. Thousands of youth sports organizations across the country use Crossbar, and we're proud to join that community.
